For the Strength of the pack is the wolf, And the strength of the wolf is the pack

Coach Mario

I am very passionate about soccer. I grew up in a country where soccer is a very popular sport so I was always playing soccer on the street, at parks, & at school. Even with all my passion for soccer back then, I never knew I had the same passion for being a coach; I'd discover that passion later in life. Back then, what I discovered through soccer was that hard work, dedication, and of course, passion are the key elements for success. However, in a team sport, success can't be achieved by one-self - it is a team effort. I want to teach these same values to every player representing Wolves United Soccer Club.

I never knew that my passion for soccer encompassed being a soccer coach. I discovered my passion of being a soccer coach back in 2014 when I volunteered to coach for my daughter’s team after her coach dropped out at the last moment before the season began. Since my humble beginnings at the Needham Soccer club back in 2014, I have coached at Juventus Academy Boston where I coached 4 different teams from U9 through U16; I also coached their jr. academy. Also, I have experience coaching semi-professionally at Santa Cruz FC where I coached their U23 team for a short period. The rest of my coaching experience includes the New England Revolution Academy, College at MassBay Community College, Mass Youth Soccer where I coached one of their Town Select programs and one of their District Select programs. I have also coached Women's & Men's college club soccer. Also, I'm currently assembling a women's team to play in the UPSL-Women's League in the summer.

As for my soccer coaching education. I currently have my USSF C License. To continue my soccer education, my next goal is to apply and obtain the B License.
